What I miss the MOST
It has been awhile since I have posted, my poor neglected blog.
I am slowly but surely growing. I have a pooch and I will be going to the doctor on Monday for my monthly check-in.
I had a wonderful 12 week check in 4 weeks ago, we had an early ultrasound and if blogger wasn't being such a jerk, I would have added it.
I have noticed since being pregnant, that I miss a few things.
1. Having as much coffee as I want, right now it is limited.
2. Eating a hot dog. I don't know, I think it is a rebellion thing.
3. Sleeping on my stomach. I have always slept on my stomach, this side sleeping is not the best time.
4. Going a whole night without having to pee. Oh the bliss of sleeping through the night. I know that I won't see another night like that in awhile, and I mean AWHILE.
5. Not being so moody. My poor wonderful Hubba. He is so great.
6. Eating a peice of candy without GESTATIONAL DIABETES roaring through my head.
There is more but that is all I can do today. I will be better at posting.

The Sisterhood
So far so good, going on week 7. I have had tinges of wanting to throw up but not an all out fest with the toilet. Sleep has been a good friend of mine. So really, I have been feeling normal.
Except for the other night.
Hubba was watching Microcosmos (bug documentary, yuck!) So I went into the bedroom to watch the sisterhood of the traveling pants. Normally, yes I can cry at any given movie, oprah special or extreme home makeover. But this was uncontrollable sobbing. You would have thought my favorite dog had died. I could not control the tears. Hubba came into the room and thought I had hurt myself. I don't know what compelled the crying. It was kind of a sad movie. But not sad enough to warrant 45 minutes of bawling.
hmmm... the hormones are slowly taking over my body. I try to defend myself but I am weaker than I thought.
can't.
give.
in.

Dear John
I see that we are quickly becoming good friends. I come and visit you twice as much as I used to (only 2 weeks ago). But now it seems like I see you every time I turn around. I actually plan things around seeing you. My you have become important in my life. I just ask please return the favor, always be there for me, please don't make me wait, for this could have dire consequences on me, especially in a few months when "waiting" will not be an option. I, in return will promise to continue to see you and plan on not laughing until I have seen you or run to the grocery store, without a consultation. Oh Bathroom, we shall be long standing friends for the better portion of the next year. I hope hubba will share you.
Sincerely yours,
Kimkapyung

Joke!
"What majestic trees! "What powerful rivers! "What beautiful animals!" he said to himself. As he was walking alongside the river, he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him. He turned to look and saw a 7-foot grizzly charge towards him. He ran as fast as he could up the path. He looked over his shoulder and saw the bear closing in on him.
He looked over his shoulder again and the bear was even closer. He tripped and fell, rolled over, and found the bear right on top of him with a paw slashing toward his face.
The atheist cried out, "Oh my God!"
Time Stopped.
The bear froze.
The forest was silent.
As a bright light shone upon the man, a voice came out of the sky. "You deny My existence for all these years, teach others I don't exist and even credit creation to cosmic accident.
Do you expect Me to help you out of this predicament? Am I to now count you as a believer?"
The atheist looked directly into the light, "It would be hypocritical of me to suddenly ask you to treat me as a Christian now, but perhaps you could make the BEAR a Christian?"
"Very well," said the voice.
The light went out.
The sounds of the forest resumed.
And the bear brought his swiping paw down. Then he drew both paws together, bowed his head and said, "Lord, bless this food, which I am about to receive from thy bounty, through Christ our Lord, Amen."
Finished
Sorry for the bad picture, this is a baby hat with stars on it.... I don't know if I like it
Yet another baby hat, I made this for a baby shower for a lady at church, she had already had the baby, it barely fit his head. Who knew they grew that fast?!
The oh so cute baby booties... I loved making these!
I tried to modify the pattern above to make these but I don't know if I like them.
This is a yellow sweater, the pattern is the pea pod baby sweater... I am going to make the hat that matches.

The hippy socks I am making for my mom... I am almost done with the second one. She is pretty excited about them, already has an outfit picked out
And lastly...
The yarn I dyed with Koolaid... the one on the right has little bits of yellow...
Ok! That is it for now!

Let me know if the links do not work, this is my first time linking.
Next post we should have some pics of finished knitted things... Including my mom's "hippy socks" that I am almost finished and the yarn that I hand dyed with koolaid. It is super easy and super fun!
